Squishy: Toy Day!

On Thursday Wolf Link moved into Cosmic. Welcome to the village!

 

Marshal said that it would be fun to be Jingle but he thinks that he wouldn't suit the clothes. White goes with anything.

Gracie was here again. At this point I would be very stupid to fail this again but I am not backing down on my goal.

I finally found some glasses that goes well with my outfit. Now I'm all ready for Christmas.

Today in town I got a very fitting initiative.

 

Today is also Toy Day! Hurray!

Despite the happy holiday Iggly strted complaining about the weather.

Since its Toy Day all of the Santa suit will be available in Able Sisters and Kicks.

I finally got around to changing my path to be more festive.

I stopped playing for a while but I went back on for Toy Day!

Near my southern fountain I found Jingle, the black-nosed reindeer!

 

 He wanted me to take the role of Santa. I even got his sack!

 

I went around and gave everything that the villagers wanted.

 

I unequipped the bag to see what was left inside so when I went to Marshal's house he was a bit worried. Oops!

So I had to go outside, equip the bag then go in and give him his gift. It didn't seem worth it though.

This is where the deliveries get a bit annoying. I didn't have a clue for Pietro and Jeremiah. There were three umbrellas in the sack and Avery wanted one so I had to choose a random one. Luckily I got it right!

 

 I tried giving the red umbrella to Pietro. Sadly it was wrong.

 

I also completely forgot about Wolf Link which explained the extra gift. I got that wrong too.

His tongue looks so weird.

Along with Jeremiah's gift.

I returned to Jingle and even got my own gift. It was the festive wreath!

Beth: Blizzard in Acorn

 Yesterday was the Winter Solstice in game. I played pretty early, but it was still weird to have complete darkness!

 Isabelle gave me a blue glow wand for the celebration.

 I stopped off at the cut-out, which made me feel pretty lonely :P

 Chai invited me to visit her house, and I said yes! I didn't buy anything of hers, but I got very overexcited about finding a stone wall in her dresser.

 In the campground, I purchased another of Harvey's balls.

 Back in town, I noticed a new house plot. Shari isn't my favourite villager, but I'm happy I can replace her with Amiibo now!

 I finally completed my fossil collection yesterday. I thought I had more than one left to collect, so it was a nice surprise.

Today, I headed right into a snow blizzard! This has to be one of my favourite types of weather in ACNL!

 Sally pinged me to move. I do like her (and the squirrels in general), but her house is in a pretty inconvenient spot...so I let her go.

 While wandering, Julian told me how grateful he is for the Keep Acorn Beautiful ordinance. So am I, Julian. I wouldn't want to water all of those flowers! :P

 The campsite looks especially festive in a blizzard.

I found what I thought was the last piece of my Santa costume in Able's, but then I couldn't find my my hat. Fingers crossed it'll turn up in the next few days.

 Before ending for the day, I set up donations for the outdoor chair. It's not the green one I was thinking of, but I'm happy to keep it for now at least.

Squishy: The Legend of Darkness

Yesterday a notice popped up about Toy Day! Yippee!

 

There was also one for the Winter Solstice.

Avery pinged me and asked me what was better, spaghetti or mac and cheese. I chose spaghetti.

 

Looks like Flurry had some.

I decided to scan my Zelda amiibo and invite Wolf Link over.

For a while I've been considering whether to invite amiibo villagers to Cosmic or not. Since he is my only one I decided to make him a resident. I will only be doing this for the amiibo exclusive villagers.

I also decided to finally start making a new path design. I made a new character to hold them. I'm making her based of Nurse Joy from the Pokémon series.

I closed my 3DS and forgot to quit my game when I opened it up again I got my fist look at the northern lights. Pretty!

Today was the winter solstice. The shartest day of the year. Animal Crossing takes it to the extreme and makes it dark all day.

Isabelle was handing out blue glow wands. Personally I prefer a glow wand over an ugly pair of sunglasses.

There was also a face cutout board. Forever alone...

I found W Link's house plot. I can't really connect the path to his house but I suppose he is a lone wolf.

Flurry was making the darkness more positive. This is why she's one of my favourites.

 

I also ordered Zeld'a outfit from W Link's RV. I would make a very ugly princess.
