The other day I was just casually playing Stardew Valley on a personal file. While collecting some wood near the train tracks, the train showed up at the right time. So I used this as an opportunity to experiment...

Squishy: Stardew Valley: Final Stats

Winter is here and so is the lack of crops. Yayyy...

 
Which means that I need to find other ways of making money, like fishing which I suck at.

I came across a hat store and bought this cute ribbon 

I continued fishing and I just can't get the hang of it, even when I do catch something the things i get are rubbish.

At least the mushrooms are a good source of income.

"Mr Mushroom, your my only friend"

I did some mining and reached Level 3 in Combat and Level 4 in Mining. Woohoo!

While doing that though, I didn't make it home before 2am. In past farming simulators, there weren't any major penalties for staying out late so this was a weird addition.

Pierre came to me to say that he'll be selling more types of seeds in his shop. Yay for more food!

I decided to make this my last Stardew Valley blog entry. It was fun to do this for the last few months and I hope everyone enjoyed it. Thank you for reading and here are my final character levels (yes I'm THAT bad at fishing)

Squishy: Stardew Valley: The Stardew Valley Fair

I got another letter from Lewis about the Stardew Valley Fair, this time mentioning that its tomorrow. 

So with the power of sleeping at 1pm, I made it the next day! Let the event begin!

I added a mixture of crops and other farming goods on my display. It looks pretty cool!

Mayor Lewis didn't think so though... I only got third. I guess they look at the quality of the items too.

Gas is cooking pigs near their possible relatives. That's kinda morbid!

The event also has games and stuff to buy. Its one of the better events in the game.

After the festivities it was back to work! I got a copper pickaxe made at the blacksmith.

Caroline asked for a pumpkin, one day after I sold them all. Oops!

I reached Level 7 Farming. This skill levels up quickly!

I decided that now was a good time to build a barn since I can't grow crops in winter

I moved it to near the bottom of my farm and made a little fenced off area for it.

Lewis sent me yet another letter. This one for Spirits Eve. Oooooh... Spoopy (sorr)

So I went to bed and went to the Festival!

There was a maze set up so of course I gave it a shot

I couldn't finish the maze. I looked everywhere and it was just dead ends. So I left.

Squishy: Stardew Valley: Fall is here!

On Fall 1st, My Copper Axe is finally done! Now I can break wood faster.

Sadly bigger logs are still too strong.

Because I chose the Joja route the community centre has turned into a warehouse, just like the Mayor said.

One thing I noticed is that Evelyn makes themed cookies depending on the season. This time they are little pumpkins. Cute!

Old people in farming simulators are adorable

I found a lost book on the beach while collecting shells to sell.

I got a letter from Lewis about the Stardew Valley Fair. It must really be a big deal if I'm being told a week in advance.

I found my first frozen geode while farm clearing...

...and it sucked

I reached Level 5 in forging. I close to become a gatherer since I never sell wood.

I also reached Level 2 in combat. I'm getting better at this.

My museum is coming along well. It looks so colourful!

Stardew Valley will be slowing down a little bit. I will be giving more information on Wednesday's blog entry so stay tuned.

Squishy: Stardew Valley: Mines and Drinks

Today in Stardew Valley, I came across the mines that the Level up from last time spoke of.

He gave me a sword to make mining easier. An old man giving me a sword? Hmmmm...

I went to the general store and upgraded my backpack. Space, Glorious Space!

I walked south from town and triggered an event with the children.

Jas knows what's up when it comes to creepy looking places.

They heard a monster and asked me to check it out. I got scared too.

I found the wizard's tower and he (creepily) invited me in. He cut his introduction short though.

He showed off some fancy witchcraft. Ooh pretty!

He told me about the creatures called "Junimes" and that they only talk to me.

He also translated the message I found in the community centre.

He then made me drink something "of the forest" then left me on my way.

When I left the tower I came across an abandoned hut. It looks like a stereotyple cartoon house, with the colour scheme.

I reached Level 3 in Foraging and even made a bit of money off of it.
