New Leaf: Weeding Day 2018 and musical designs!

Last Saturday was Weeding Day in Europe! This meant that I can finally get those weeding exclusive PWPs!

Or not??? Why?

I found out that its because I had one, little, weed. Well, better luck next year I guess...

Nothing much else happened in town over the last few days, but I did remember to get the QR codes for some of the designs I made. Here's Evan's polo shirt from Dear Evan Hansen!

Veronica's outfit from "Heathers The Musical". It might be beautiful...

And lastly, Jeremy's shirt and jacket from Be More Chill!

"ITS not FROM JAPAAAAAAAN!!!"

I can finally say now that the year long Christmas jumper plague will end shortly. Yes!

Thank you for reading and have an awesome week!

Miitopia: More friends arrive!

The party looks so much more lively now with an addition Mii.

I stumbled upon the Great Sage Chuggaa and he was looking for a lamp. Nope didn't see one anywhere.

Yeah, especially on all fours...

Its nice to see Amy and myself bonding, even if it is cruel humor like this conversation.

I used Home Cooking for the first time. Its where I cook for either myself or another party member, which heals them.

Amy is catching up to me and reached Level 2. She also learnt Sharpen Claws!

Then we both quickly reached Level 3. Awesome!

At the next inn, I chose a new party member. Deathrow the Imp!

I'm really loving all these new classes, especially the Cat! Thank you for reading!

New Leaf: Stop wanting my stuff!

On Wednesday, I got the news that Lucha is planning to leave on the 5th May. He's another villager on my hitlist who will be leaving, so I'm letting him go.

Iggly attempted to ruin the symmetry of my path. I think I reacted well to the situation.

I made Evan's polo shirt, which is based of the musical "Dear Evan Hansen". I also made some other musical based designs, but I forgot to get the QR codes for them. Hopefully I'll have them next time.

Tonight I checked the progress on my villager donation only challenge. They are actually doing better than I thought they would.

I spoke to Frank a few times and twice in a row, he wanted my stuff. I'm getting the strange feeling that he only moved in for my items...

Iggly was the same. Why do my villagers want my pocket junk?

Of course I said yes to all of them, because I'm nice! Thanks for reading and have a good weekend!

Comparing Tomodachi Life food prices to real life.

I have been playing Tomodachi Life a lot more lately. While buying some food it got me thinking "how accurate are the prices of the food in this game to real?" So I decided to do some research and find out for myself. I did give myself a few rules though

  • The currency needs to be the same (so I'll be looking at prices in the UK, since my copy of Tomodachi Life uses the UK currency "£").
  • I will be checking multiple sources (sourcses meaning either shops or/and restaurants), gathering the prices then comparing the highest and lowest prices of the real life food to the price of the Tomodachi Life food.
  • Depending on the food, I might have to use a pre-made /microwave food rather than if it was home cooked, since they most likely have all of the components together.
  • If its a more outlandish food, I'm not counting post and packaging
  • I will do one food from each of the categories in the game. I might do more in the future if anyone is interested.
With that done. Let's get started!

The first food I will be comparing is the cheeseburger, which costs £6 in the game. Since a lot of the sources come from fast food places, I will be using them. The lowest price I found was £1.09 while the highest was £3.49. So compared to real life, the cheeseburgers are overpriced in this game. Is the cheese made of gold or something?

The second food I went for was Caviar since its the most expensive food in the game at a whopping £120! The lowest price I found for Caviar was £49 while the highest was £160. So that is slightly accurate. I guess the game's caviar is of a high quality! Maybe don't buy it anyway...

The third food was the Yule Log, a popular Christmas dish and at £6.50. The lowest price for the Yule log I found was £2 and the highest was £4.99. Slightly overpriced in Tomodachi Life but unlike the cheeseburger, its not too big of a gap.

The last food (well, drink...) was the cappuccino which is £2.90 in Tomodachi Life. From the picture, I'm going to assume that this is a medium beverage. The lowest price was £2.50 and the highest was £2.70. So out of all the foods we went through today, the cappuccino was the closest to the game's price.

So this is what happens when I get back into a game about Miis. Overall though, its interesting seeing how accruate most of these prices are. I might try it with more foods from the game. Thank you for reading and have a good day!

New Leaf: Catch up!

Hi guys! I am back with Animal Crossing New Leaf! I missed way too much to show every little detail so here's everything major that happened;
  • Tammy moved out of Cosmic (Yes!!!)
  • I missed a Fishing Tourney
  • European Weeding Day is coming up on the 28th
Now that's out of the way, on to what happened over yesterday and today, just to get back into the swing of things.

It took a while for a house plot to show up after Tammy left, but one did in one of the spots I cleared for that purpose. It belonged to Frank!

I've been doing some decorating while the internet was out. I'm really proud of this area of town in particular.

Flurry asked for a greeting. You can tell that I'm low on ideas...

Today I visited Frank for the first time. The exterior of his house looks awesome!

Frank himself looks meh. I'll keep him for a while until I get rid of some of the uglier animals.

I set up a bell PWP but haven't been paying it off. I kind of want to see how long it takes for the villagers to do it themselves.

Come to think of it, a villager pays only run of the game sounds interesting...

And Iggly started talking about... love?

He just wanted some fruit. I accepted his request but never did it.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to getting back to normal!

Miitopia: Stolen Party!

When I made it to the next inn, the Dark Lord ProtonJon took three members of my party. Whyyy!

It turns out that not only are my friends gone, but I lost my Mage ability and the levels.

So I went with the chef because I like food!

I did get to see a cut scene with Jeff, Beth and Chack though. Glad they are still alive!

Its kind of sad seeing my Mii at the inn, all alone...

So I started my solo adventure in Neksdor Desert. Heheh, I see what they did there.

There was a dig spot and I tried digging it up. It turned out that I drained some of my HP for 25G. Lame!

I also sat on a cactus. The heat mixed in with loneliness must really be getting to me...

I'm starting to regret picking the chef since fighting solo as a healer doesn't do must damage. I ended up with my first (and second) game over.

I did eventually complete the particular place I was stuck at and reached Level 2! I also learnt Home Cooking.

Luckily I got a new party member at the next Inn. I asked on Twitter and cotacted some friends to see if they wanted to be my play through. My first party member is Amy the Cat!

Hopefully some more will join me soon. Thank you for reading!
