Squishy: Silver watering can

On Thursday in town Jeremiah wanted to call me Squiiish. I'm more than happy to let everyone embrace their inner Harvey.

Zipper confirmed that his bunny like looks are indeed a costume. This is not a drill people!

Oh nevermind. False alarm.

On Friday one of my tasks for today was to sell some sea shells. ReTail was closed so I tried selling them in the Island. Sadly it didn't count.

There wasn't much on display at the campground.

I messed around with the amiibo camera. Enjoy!

Yesterday I unlocked the ability to work at the Roost. I won't be doing that yet.

Main Street was really busy.

Another cute touch that the update added was that Row- I mean Blathers yawns before falling asleep. It makes him seem more alive.

I no longer have to bug flowers. I finally unlocked the silver watering can.

I have one from my last town so I might give it away.

I heard that fertiliser brings perfect fruit trees back to life. So I'm putting it to the test.

Pietro needed a new catchphrase so I simply made him say boing.

Harvey's rain suit is so cute!

I finally have another new face in the campground. Gulliver!

Today in town the fertiliser worked! No fruit though.

This is the best sounding task I've seen so far. I made myself sound manly while reading it out loud.

My tree looks like a butt again. The end of autumn can do that to you.

Since I woke up this morning I decided to try again with the turnips.

Avery asked me what animal he would be. I answered "a dove" as a joke and I don't know how he's taking it.

I got another dog figure from a fortune cookie. This is nice but a Wii U or 3DS would be better.

I went to put it in my basement and my giant Resetti scared the life out of me.

Thanks for reading and I'll see you next time.

Beth: Welcoming Amiibo to Forest

The other day, I bumped into Rizzo the mouse. I don't particularly like him, but he was a starter in my very first NL town...so it's kind of nostalgic to have him around.

Acorn must have a mouse attraction going on or something, because Penelope turned up in my campsite on the same day! I didn't invite her to move in...mice aren't really my favourite villagers. One is enough, eek eek.

Blanca the cat arrived in my Campground, and wondered why I hadn't thrown a welcome party for her. Well, take a look at yourself, kitty. I think I prefer her without a face :P

Over the past few days, I've been scanning my Amiibo cards. I have mostly special characters, so I've mainly been collecting their pictures.

I also came across Wendell in the campground!

It's interesting to note that rare sets will now be available through RVs - it should be a lot easier now to pick them up!

On Friday night, I headed to Jeff's town for Friday Night Forest!

Jeff had Isabelle in his Campground - and she had the basket chair in her RV. I didn't have enough coupons to buy it, but I hopefully will come across it again. It's one of my favourite additions from HHD.

Booker was the other camper, who had mainly campsite themed furniture in his RV.

After hanging out at the campsite for a while, we headed to the town hall to see Wisp. Apparently, when you scan an Amiibo figure, Wisp will replace their NPC.

Before we left for the night, Merka, Mike, Jeff and I headed to his frog-themed room. While Merka was away from her DS, Mike mentioned how nice a port of NL for GC would be. We all made heart emotions, which must have looked weird for Merka when she came back :P

Overall, it was a really fun night. Also, the Campground made for a lovely spot to relax and chat. I think most of our evening was spent sitting around the campfire there. Even without net glitching (or visiting the island), we had a lovely couple of hours. Thanks for having me, Jeff!

By the time I headed home, it was almost 6am my time. I love how the sky looks at this time of morning - with the stars just fading and a slight mist hanging over town.

After getting some sleep, I headed back on ACNL. Chevre asked me if she could move - but I didn't let her. Although my brother despised her, I really like her :P

I saw a notice for snow flurries this winter! I do like the snow, but it gets kind of boring after a while. I'm looking forward to the igloo, though.

I also saw a new house plot. It's not in the best place, but at least it's a squirrel!

Before finishing for the day, I finally paid off another home loan.

Today, I met Acorn's new resident. The fact I now have 3 random move-in squirrels (and my town is called Acorn) is tempting me to use Amiibo to get a town full of squirrels.

I headed up to the Campground, and saw a ramen cup. I'm going to end up with a house full of weeb trash food at this rate :P

My RV for today was Gulliver. I wasn't interested in any of his furniture, but it's weird seeing him without his hat.

Jeff gave me some beans he got from Harvey last night, so I fed the birds in the Campground today. :)

Shrunk taught me the most relatable emotion - sleepiness! Note: I have half of the 'jokes' in my joke book now.

I started donations for the museum renovation today. I didn't want it, but apparently you can't get The Roost without the second floor.

I saw my expansion today as a ghost. I'm collecting the mush furniture throughout November, so hopefully at the end of the month I'll be able to design this as a nicer room.

Thanks for reading! See you on Tuesday.

Beth: Dancing Around the Campfire!

The other night, I headed up to the campground. You may not know, but if you press A while facing the fire, you do a little dance.

Joan visited me for the second time. I was wondering how long it would take for a duplicate camper!

Yesterday, I noticed a new plot. It's for Rizzo the mouse, who I think I had as a starter in my very first town! His house is in a popular plot, next to Lily's.

I paid Harvey for his balls.

I had a camper in another part of town, Tiffany the rabbit. I'm not that interested her, so I left pretty quickly :P

Last night, I visited Forest. He had scanned in Digby so we both headed to his RV.

It turns out I could order both the New Nintendo 3DS & Wii U consoles from his RV! I'm so happy I don't have to go through fortune cookies anymore, and I can't wait to try the mini-games!

I also bought a bike from Harvey's shop. It turns out if you find things you like, those MEOW coupons can go down pretty quickly.

I realised this is the first time I've seen the campground with two RVs!

I bought what I could afford from the sweets set before it goes from Gracie's for another year.

Today, I added the Wii U and 3DS to my basement, along with the Labrador Ornament and Isabelle 3DS that Jeff very kindly gave me. Thanks, Jeff!

I headed to Nook's Homes, and met Lottie! I'm not sure if President Nook is scarier than President Trump or not.

Lottie gave me a quick tutorial about using the new interior design features with the update. I sped through, as it's the same way as moving furniture in HHD.

I ordered a few tables to put my new DS's on. They should be in my mailbox tomorrow!

Thanks for reading! So far, I'm really enjoying the update, by the way!
