Miitopia: Bree's spiders

Out on the field, I fell. Then when Bree came to help me out, she fell too. We both just laughted it off. Its so wholesome how the Miis act in this game.

I gave Bree some money to get this Lace Fan, but she came back with a banana...

I got a new outfit, but it looks like one of those sucky kids' drawings that bother me to no end.

At least it comes in purple!

Amethyst sensed Pearl calling for help. We were too late though, her face was already on a monster!

Scrappy used Defence for the first time. It simply just reduces the amount of damage he takes.

It was a bit of a hard fight. I had to take advantage of my sprinkles a lot.

I eventually did it though and Pearl got her face back!

Now Pearl will tag along with us, but Amethyst returned to the Retreat!

Now we just need to find Garnet.

After the battle, I bought a photo from the photographer and it wasn't a blank screen this time!

I love how disgusted Scrappy looks, despite having the tools to literally kill them with fire!

Miitopia: Creepy Teddy Shell

At the inn, Scrappy and Bree were gossiping about me. I wonder what its about?

The party is looking like this so far. Everyone is level 6, has enough healing items and look as weird as usual.

Bree said that the cave look delicious, but I disagreed and knew what she was thinking.

My instincts were right. Don't drink random liquid kids!

I used Bluster for the first time. Forgot what it does since I last played though lol

Bree and Scrappy leveled up in friendship and can now use Concern on each other.

Scrappy bought a Teddy Shell. That sounds really creepy. Its like a toy company replaced the stuffing with explosives or something.

Everyone reached level 7 in battle. Some of us even learnt some new skills!

Yay for progress!

Thank you for reading and I'll see you all next time!

New Leaf: Bye Lobo!

Tonight, Iggly gave me the nickname "Muscles". I'm not sure about it, but the villagers are more creative than I am.

Hey! I'm the mayor! Know your place or I will use my muscles.

Isabelle told me that Lobo is moving away. I haven't playing much, so I'm glad its only Lobo leaving and not someone like Flurry, Jeremiah or Iggly.

Nibbles was at the campsite today. I would have invited her in, but my town is full until Lobo leaves tomorrow.

At least the Fishing Tourney is tomorrow. Its been a while since I've done one of those.

Thank you for reading and have a good week!

Top games that (I think) should make it on the Switch

The Switch has been around for a year and a half so far. There are already a lot of awesome games out for it and even more coming. But I think there are a few more they could add that I think would be perfect for the Switch. So here are my ideas for possible Switch games.

Boom/Fortune Street
Remember that monopoly type game for the Wii that had Mario and Dragon Quest characters in it? Well I think it would be perfect for the Switch. The only buttons needed to play it are the buttons on a Wii Romote, so a Joy Con would work perfectly! Just bringing a set of Joy Con means you can always play it with someone, no matter what. Plus, imagine we got Zelda or Kirby characters for the next worldwide instalment. Yes please!

Portal and Portal 2
Yeah having two is kinda cheating, but who wouldn’t want a portable portal? Playing with two Joy Con and the HD rumble would be perfect! You can’t have one and not the other after all!

Mario Paint
I’m personally more of a Warioware DIY person when it comes to making stuff (especially music), but Mario Paint is more popular. Since unlike the SNES, the Switch has online, this could mean having a database to share music and other things. Since the Switch has a video recording feature, it would also make posting them on other social media sites easier. Plus, with the Labo wheels can (sort of) work in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, then the Labo piano could work in a Switch version of Mario Paint!

Samba De Amigo
Two Joy Cons? Motion Controls? HD Rumble? We have maracas! Samba De Amigo is another Wii game that would be perfect for Switch because of the lack of buttons needed and motion controls. Imagine being able to feel the beads/rice/stuff rattling around near the palms of your hands. It would be awesome!

Well those are the ideas that come to mind. If you have other ideas, feel free to let me know. Thanks for reading!

Miitopia: Scrappy Wood!

Back at the inn, Bree and I learnt friendship level 3 and learnt Warning!

Bree also complimeted my singing!

Scrappy got a new upgraded weapon!

Scrappy was also the first person to reach Level 6!

Bree got a peasant gown while on her travels. It also looks kinda cute!

Squishy went out and bought a banana instead of a new outfit. Meanwhile, Bree got another one straight after!

Scrappy found a potion bottle, which I let him drink. It healed him!

Squishy was next to gain a level up. She even learnt Bluster.

Along with all this food!

Squishy and Bree reached friendship level 4 next!

Scrappy got a wooden outfit! He's officially a tree with missiles!

Now everyone reached level 6 and learnt Escort. I like how these are named so cleverly!

I met up with Captain Toad and... Toad please don't!

He gave me a puzzling tablet! Sounds like someone figuring out how to work an iPad!

Bree used Escort for the first time. Its where another party member removes Bree from an attack. That's kinda cool!

Thanks for reading and have a good day!

New Leaf: Fake Bond

Tonight I played for a little bit. Because of Daylight Savings in the UK, my town is an hour forward. This photo was taken at just after 8, when my town clock said 9.

I got a letter from the post office saying that I got 6,000 bells in interest.

While walking around town, Iggly was just standing there on the bridge. Even before he took out his shovel he kinda just chilled there.

Kidd offered to sell me a dynamic painting for around 7,000 bells. I bought it, despite his strong bond to it.

I was also having a bit of a bad luck day. RIP...

When I brought the painting to the museum, it turned out to be fake. Wow Kidd's bond was just as fake as some relationships.

November Update!

Hello everyone! Its been a while since I've last posted here. I have been active on Twitter and Youtube, but because of college and a lot of other things, the blog kind of fell through the cracks. I appriate everyone who has been reading older blog entries while I was gone. I had a lot of time to think of what I'm going to do next and stuff, so I'm going to talk about that.

Schedule and Dates
Back in September, I mentioned that since I will be starting college, I might have to review the current schedule and change it in October. One October later I was inactive, so I guess I'll call this my 2018 schedule. I'm going to just fiddle around with posting adtes and see how I go, trying my best to stick to the older schedule

Monday - New Leaf or Miitopia
Wednesday - Miitopia
Friday - New Leaf or Miitopia
Sunday - Miitopia

Again for things such as Directs, streams, events and other one off type things, that will replace a New Leaf or Miitopia instead. I will post other stuff like new series and stuff randomly.

Next of all, I'm gonna try going for Squishmas again in December. For those who don't know, Squishmas is where I post something Christmas/winter themed every year on the last 12 days before Christmas. It usually ends with New Leaf's Toy Day on the 24th and the rest of December off blogging. I wanna try and incorporate my Warioware DIY covers into this year's Squishmas. So if anyone has any ideas for Christmas/Winter song ideas feel free to mention them.

Youtube and other Social Media
Like I said before, I have been active on Twitter and Youtube. Twitter is the best place to find out if I'm not posting (unless I don't say anything for a personal reason or something). You can follow me on Twitter here!

As for Youtube, thank you so much for over 100 subscribers. My original goal was to reach that by the end of December. Not only did we pass that two months earlie, but we are still going. I'm really happy about it. You can find my Youtube channel here! Feel free to subscribe if you haven't yet!

Other Stuff
Might be too soon to talk about this but as we all know, Animal Crossing is coming to the Nintendo Switch next year (unless its delayed or something). I will be posting about it here once it releases (maybe not at launch depending on when it comes out). However, due to what my life is looking like for the next few years, I will be ending New Leaf once I start making content on the Switch game. So realistically, we have under a year left of it. If there is anything that you think I should do in New Leaf's final months, feel free to let me know. I do want to play online more, visit more dream towns and complete my own town to a good standard before I finish. But is there anything else I could/should do?

Thank you so much for sticking around despite me not really doing the same. I look forward to the next few months and next year.

Squishy’s thoughts on the November Smash Direct

So yesterday, Nintendo had their last pre-release Nintendo Direct for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, where we got shown that mode that was blurred out, the remaining characters and more. So here are my thoughts on the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Nintendo Direct!

Let’s start with the layout of the Direct overall. The beginning and end were perfect! However, the middle felt very wordy with Sakarai rambling about a lot of the features. Sure, it was stuff we need to know about the game and I appreciate the enthusiasm, but it really made it feel like the end of the E3 presentation where it just went on and on.

Next are the characters. I wasn’t waiting for any in particular, but was glad to see the Sun/Moon Pokemon Incineroar (did I spell that right?) show up, since every game has at least one new Pokemon. We also got Ken from Street Fighter as an Echo fighter for Ryu, which a lot of people were happy about. Sakarai also announced DLC characters, the first one being Pirhrana Plant. Yep, I’m not joking. A potted plant beat Waluigi. I was laughing my butt off the whole time. I didn’t buy DLC for Smash 4, but I might have to this time.

The last thing that really stuck out to me was the story/adventure mode. So what happens is that all of the characters turn into spirits, except Kirby because of course. It’s up to him to rescuer the other characters. Also THE OPENING THEME HAS LYRICS! And they aren’t in Latin! (not that Latin sucks or anything). The song is amazing and I got teary listening to it.

Really the only thing I’m disappointed about is the lack of trophies, but that’s for a valid reason. Overall though, it was a good Direct and I’m looking forward to the game (and maining Isabelle because I have an Amiibo lol) Thanks for reading and have a good day!
