New Leaf: Villager hit list

On Tuesday, I noticed that the lost item landed directly in the middle of where the event tents are. Its like a weird ritual of goods!

Iggly tried to move away on the 5th April. You are one of the villagers I'm keeping forever!

While talking to Jeremiah, I found out that he's the second of four kids. Hey! Me too!

I'm gonna leave this image out of context for a second...

For those who thought it was book related, your somehow correct!

I'm pretty much finished adding patterns around town. Now I just need to get rid of some villagers and make sure the newer ones move onto these sections. My villager hit list includes...

  • Lucha - He's in a weird spot
  • Naomi - She's in a weird spot, plus she's meh...
  • Tammy - Just yuck!
  • Stitches - He's in a weird spot, plus I have his amiibo card
  • Rosie (maybe) - I have her amiibo card
That's enough villagers to fill four of these spots (five if this edge part works)

I've been catching a lot of villager conversations lately. I do find it funny though how my two ugliest villagers are talking about beauty.

I figured out what I was going to do with one of the face cutout boards. I made Fawful!

The QR code is below if you need some fury in your town!

I ended the day by checking the campsite. It was Leonardo, the ninja turtle tiger

Thank you for reading and have a good weekend!

Super Smash Bros: Who will stay and who will go? (part 1)

A few weeks ago in the most recent Nintendo Direct, the next Smash Bros was announced along with playable Inklings. So that got me thinking. Who will return? Who will leave? Who else could be added. I'm going to talk about that today!

Personally I think Nintendo could go about this in one of two ways. They would either;

  • Bring back the whole roster from Smash 4 and just add additional characters, for the sake of saving resources on Smash amiibo (current roster below)
  • It will work like previous games and we will just lose some characters

So who do I think will stay or go?

Of course the original 12 are safe, which are Mario, DK, Link Samus, Yoshi, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Luigi, Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon and Ness. But no one else is safe really. Now I will go through the remaining characters by seines and see what they will probably do with it character wise.

Mario Series and Co
I don't think we need anymore Mario characters. I see Peach, Bowser and Diddy Kong coming back. I can also see Dr Mario come back (I can hear the angry mob) if they made Mario's move set incorporates Cappy, that way Mario's original moveset would still be in the game. Otherwise I don't want Dr Mario. I think they will choose between Rosalina or Bowser Jr. They were both cool for one game but we really do only need one or the other.

Legend of Zelda series
When was the last time they added a Zelda character that wasn't another version of Link? Melee. A new Zelda character is long overdue. The most obvious character I can think of is Impa (one of the younger versions but it would be funny watching an old lady kick someone's butt). Similar to my Mario and Dr Mario idea, I think if Link got a whole new move set that's themed around Breath of the Wild, then I wouldn't mind Toon Link coming back. Otherwise, please don't because we don't need more clones. One thing though, will Zelda and Shiek be one character again or not?

Metroid series
Maybe Metroid Prime 4 will show off a Smash worthy character to represent the series in this game. I personally don't care if Ridley makes it in or not but it would be the bigget troll if he was added and then played like rubbish. Like Zelda and Shiek, will the two versions of Samus be the same character or not?

Kid Icarus series
We need more Kid Icarus characters. Viridi or Hades have a good shot but other than that I don't know. We will of course have Pit return and more than likely have Palutena come back too.

Fire Emblem series
As good looking as most of them are, we don't need more of them. I would even say that either Robin or Corrin will get cut. We don't need two avatar characters that are half sword, half something else. If they could somehow make Marth and Ike different, that would be awesome.

Kirby series
I currently like the lineup of Kirby characters and can't think of who else to add (unless a giant emotional tree counts). Although Banadna Waddle Dee would make sense since he is the player 4 out of the current crew, he wouldn't be that interesting. What would he even do for a Final Smash? Other Kirby characters only show up once or twice in the series.

I will continue with my predictions again soon. Thanks for reading and what do you think will happen?

New Leaf: Rosie's Eye-dea

Today there was a notice about Bunny Day (Easter) but not one for April Fools Day. I guess the notice will come later.

Rosie told me about how she made her eyes look perfect. Honesttly, its not that good of an eye-dea...

Iggly was talking about how the town is much cleaner because of the beautiful ordinance. Aren't cyclists not the enemies of runners though?

And while I was doing chores around town, I just noticed how shiny the pitfall seeds look in this game. They were less glossy in previous installments.

Thanks for reading and have a good week!

Miitopia: Waddle waddle!

I returned to the castle after getting the calming fruit, but the damage was so bad I could barely speak.

Ear?

It was filled with Imps and Ice King's useless guards...

They got Beth and Chack up to friendship level 7, cool!

While Beth and I reached friendship level 13!

We made it Elise's chamber and her face was stolen!

Prince Demon wasn't taking it well while Alm waddled to her rescue.

And he waddled away (waddle waddle), 'til the very next day!

She's screwed!

Chack reached level 10. He's the first in the party to get it too!

I got my first fake chest. We just can't trust chests in RPGs!

Chack gave me a bouquet of roses and Beth got jealous.

After a holiday, Chack and I reached level 6!

This is what the party looks like for the road ahead. I'm now ready to go to Nightmare Tower and save Elise.

In a week's time! Thanks for reading!

New Leaf: Currency Confusion

Earlier today I noticed that perfect apples were the best selling item in my ReTail, so I mentioned it on Twitter, just in case but no one showed up. I can't wait until a new game comes. I miss when the community was really lively and features like this could be used a lot more.

Jeremiah told me that he actly bought two ink-jet printers. How does someone accidently buy two of something that costs £80-£150? And how much is £100 in bells anyway?

Iggly suggested a new PWP, a torch!

Wind would just put the flame out though...

This is what it looks like. Its one of those Public Works Projects that would look awesome on the beach.

I stopped playing for a few hours and played again later. Iggly asked me to go deliver something to Tammy, who was just a few steps away...

I turned around and gave it to her. She never told me what was inside but I got a cabin chair for my troubles.

Jeremiah pinged me and asked on a scale of 1 to 100, how I was feeling. I kept it in the middle and he made a very good point!

Not too busy but not to quiet either. Perfect! Well thanks for reading and have an average weekend.

Squishy's thought on the Kirby Star Allies demo

The demo has been out for a few weeks now and I finally got around to trying it out. I've played Kirby Epic Yarn, Kirby's Adventure Wii (Kirby Returns to Dreamland in America) and I remember playing Kirby's Rainbow Curse(?) as a young child, so I know a bit about the series. So here is what I thought about the Kirby Star Allies demo!

The demo lets you try two stages. For the sake of nostalgia I played the Grassland Stage. I watched my brother play the other stage a few times.

I like how easy it is to use multiplayer n the Switch! Here are the control options and what each button does. Kirby is usually pretty simple.

Like most of the series, they take you through the controls using simple signs or illustrations which is always nice. Not too difficult and not holding your hand too much.

One bad thing about the game though is how long it takes to go through a simple door. We don't need a 10 second loading screen every single time (and there were 4-5 in this level alone). Hopefully its just the demo version that does this.

The main point of this game is to use the "power of friendship" to make your enemies your allies.

They will follow you throughout the stage and you can recruit up to three (or probably less if your on multiplayer)

The AI for the allies is very good. I'm glad the game doesn't penalize you for using single player.

Another use for the allies to the ability to mix or merge your copy abilities together to make a stronger attack. That kind of feature hasn't been used since Kirby 64.

The end of Grassland had Whispy Woods as the boss (surprise, surprise).

Oh no! Its Puzzle Swap!

I'm kidding, its the collectible for the game I'm guessing.

Overall, its a good game with some awesome and well done mechanics. Its not surprising since there doesn't seem to be any bad Kirby games but its really accessible. Thank you for reading and have a good day!
